Childcare Staff - Bambini Early Learning Centre | Sunbury

Alix Hill

Centre Manager

I’ve happily devoted nearly a decade to Early Childhood Education and Care and I proudly hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. In my past role as an Authorised Officer in the Quality Assessment and Regulation Division of the Department of Education, I had the wonderful opportunity to enhance my understanding of compliance and quality within Early Childhood services. This involved conducting heartwarming Assessment and Rating visits and skillfully navigating through various regulatory matters, from addressing concerns to conducting thoughtful investigations.

My heart truly lies in mentoring and supporting educators on their journey of continuous quality improvement. This passion has led me back to this amazing sector and I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Bambini Sunbury family.

I am passionate about celebrating children for who they are, building children’s capacity for Emotional Recognition, Regulation and Resilience, embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in programs and practice and using the outdoor environment to extend the indoor learning environment.

Ally Jackson

Assistant Centre Manager

Hello, I’m Ally. I’ve been a part of the Sunbury community for a significant portion of my life, starting with my time at Salesian College and then moving to Sunbury after I completed my schooling. I’m the proud parent of two children who attend the local primary school.

Throughout my career, I’ve primarily worked in New Gisborne, Riddell’s Creek, and Kyneton. Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to the Early Childhood sector, earning both my Certificate III in Children’s Services and my Diploma of Early Childhood Education. I find immense joy in assisting children as they learn and acquire new knowledge and watching them grow into wonderful members of our community.

Collaborating with both families and colleagues to ensure every child receives the nurturing and learning opportunities they deserve is something I deeply value. My passion and commitment to the Early Childhood Sector have led me to take on the role of Assistant Centre Manager here at Bambini. I am eager to meet and engage with all Educators, Families, and Children and I look forward to contributing to our shared journey.
